Cannes' Vieux-Port and Port Canto host one of Europe's largest charter fleets. Immediate proximity to Nice airport (25 minutes by helicopter, 35 by car) makes it the most practical embarkation point for an international clientele.
From Cannes you reach the Lérins Islands, the Esterel, Saint-Tropez and Monaco in under two hours of navigation. No other Riviera port combines fleet density, accessibility and concierge services at this level.
Cannes Film Festival and demand peaks
During the Film Festival (mid-May), the Cannes Yachting Festival (mid-September) and Lions International, availability collapses and rates rise 30-60%. We lock in yachts from January for repeat clients.
The yacht becomes an event HQ: private deck screenings, dinners with talent on board, dockside after-parties. We coordinate invitations, tender transfers to the Croisette and access to official pre-parties.
Day-charter vs full week
Cannes is the only Mediterranean port where premium day-charter genuinely works: 10am departure, swim at the Esterel, lunch in Saint-Tropez, sunset return. Budget €4,000-12,000 per day depending on the yacht.
A full week still offers the best pro-rata value and unlocks a much wider yacht selection — including units that never do day-charters.

Film Festival pricing?+
€150,000 for a week on a 30 m to €1M+ for the most exposed yachts facing the Palais. 12-month lead time is mandatory.
Can we host events on board during the Festival?+
Yes, it's standard practice. We handle catering, security, guest embarkation and night tender authorisations with the port.
How far from Nice airport?+
25-35 minutes by car, 8 minutes by helicopter. We coordinate both as needed.
Can we board by helicopter from Nice?+
Yes — Nice heliport to Cannes-Mandelieu in 7 minutes. From there, car or tender to the yacht. We orchestrate the full sequence.
Are there restrictions during the Festival?+
The Palais zone is filtered. Yachts anchor in the bay and access the dock by tender on reserved slots. All authorisations are arranged in advance.
