FAQ

Best time of year?+

Mid-June to mid-September. July-August for the Ibiza scene, June and September for the calm of Formentera and Menorca.

Is a specific charter licence required?+

Yes — the yacht must hold a Spanish charter authorisation (matricula turística) and the regional ITP. Without it, the charter is illegal.

Can we cruise from Ibiza to the French Riviera?+

Yes, but 36-48 h of transit. Better to take a one-way with redelivery fees, or stay in the Balearics.

Weekly cost?+

€30,000-80,000 on a 20-25 m, €100,000-250,000 on a 30-40 m. 50 m+ superyachts start at €400,000/week.
