Port Hercule remains the epicentre of Mediterranean yachting: 700 berths, 50 superyacht slots over 50 m and direct access to the heart of the Principality. During the F1 Grand Prix, the Yacht Show or the Royal Regattas, mooring demand peaks and we work six to nine months ahead to secure a berth.
Off-season, Monaco is a strategic departure point for the Italian Riviera (San Remo, Portofino, Cinque Terre) or south toward Saint-Tropez and the Îles d'Or. Our role as an independent broker: find the yacht that fits your exact programme — Casino nights, family-friendly calm waters, or a 10-day Corsica itinerary.
Budgets and available formats
Yachts based out of Monaco cover the full range: day-charters on 15-18 m boats (€3,500-6,000/day), weeks on 24-30 m motor yachts (€50,000-120,000), superyachts 40-60 m (€250,000-700,000). Above 60 m we access exclusive units that never list publicly.
The Monegasque APA typically covers Hercule and Fontvieille port fees, fuel (€1,500-4,000/day depending on size), and premium provisioning, often supplied by the Principality's partner caterers.
Events and seasonal windows
F1 Grand Prix (late May): premium rates, 4-day packages with circuit-view from the yacht. Monaco Yacht Show (late September): a rare chance to visit charter and sale yachts berthed side-by-side. Summer: July-August are the most sought-after months; June and September offer calmer waters and better high-end availability.
Shoulder season (April-May, October) regularly delivers 15-25% discounts on yachts still at peak maintenance — ideal for an extended weekend or a pre-purchase trial.

Can we embark directly from Monaco?+
Yes, from Port Hercule or Fontvieille. Yachts above 60 m often embark from Cap-d'Ail or Villefranche due to limited dockage.
Grand Prix budget?+
From €80,000 for 4 nights on a 25 m to €800,000+ on a superyacht with a clear view of the circuit. Best spots book 18 months in advance.
Do charter yachts have access to the Yacht Club de Monaco?+
Not as members, but the YCM welcomes guests via the agent or captain when the yacht is an associate member.
Any specific VAT in Monaco?+
Monaco follows the French VAT regime on charter. FCE exemption remains possible on the same conditions as a French port departure.
Can we depart Monaco and disembark elsewhere?+
Yes. One-way charters (Monaco → Saint-Tropez, Monaco → Porto Cervo, Monaco → Naples) are common. A redelivery fee applies, typically 5-15% of the charter fee.
Can the yacht host a private event dockside?+
Absolutely. 40 m+ yachts host seated dinners for 20-40 guests and cocktails for up to 80. We coordinate caterer, security and harbour-master authorisations.
Do we need a Schengen visa to embark in Monaco?+
Monaco operates within the Schengen area for yacht passengers. Non-EU nationals need a Schengen visa; we provide the embarkation certificate required for the application.
