List for charter via a MYBA agency

MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association) sets the global charter standard. Working with a MYBA central agency guarantees secured and maximised charter income.

01

What a central agency does

Exclusive charter mandate, distribution to global retail brokers (Burgess, Camper & Nicholsons, IYC), calendar, contracts, APA escrow.

02

Why MYBA

Universally accepted MYBA contract standard (clauses, deposits, cancellation), broker-owner ethical code, mandatory third-party escrow — maximum security.

03

Our setup

Drone photos, HD brochure, presentation to retail brokers (newsletters, MYBA La Spezia + Antibes shows), dynamic pricing, full charter management.

MYBA, the international charter standard

MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association) is the federation codifying charter contracts worldwide. The MYBA contract is used in 90% of charter transactions above 24m: it standardises APA, insurance, force majeure, technical failure, return.

Being a MYBA agency implies strict standards: professional insurance cover, ongoing training, triennial audit, APA financial guarantee. It's the quality filter separating a serious broker from a mere online lead-generator.

Why entrust your yacht to a MYBA member

Your yacht is listed on the central MYBA database accessible to all global member brokers: Edmiston, Burgess, Camper & Nicholsons, Fraser, Y.CO. This network multiplies exposure at no additional cost — bookings can come from any MYBA broker, who shares commission with your agency.

The MYBA contract protects the owner: APA on segregated client account, fast restitution, framed recourse. On a €200,000 charter, €60,000 of APA flows in full safety.

Our MYBA onboarding process

Step 1: yacht audit (technical, crew, equipment, flag documents). Step 2: content production (photos, video, MYBA brochure, spec sheet). Step 3: MYBA central registration, YachtFolio listing, distribution to 200+ worldwide MYBA brokers. Step 4: bookings, contracts, APA management, reporting.

Standard timeline: 6-10 weeks between first meeting and first active listing. For summer season (mostly booked in winter), aim to sign the mandate before November.

« Yacht moved to Malta flag then MYBA-listed in 8 weeks. First season: 13 weeks booked via 9 different brokers — the magic of the MYBA network. »
