Budget for a used Lagoon 50?+
Year and condition dependent: €600k (2018 ex-charter) to €1.1M (2022 private, equipped). A full ex-charter refit easily adds €150-250k to plan.
Lagoon or Fountaine Pajot?+
Lagoon: more volume, more units on the secondary market. Fountaine Pajot: slightly finer sailing, equivalent finish, rarer market.
Do I need a buyer's broker?+
Yes. Most listings are held by listing brokers under exclusive mandate. Without a buyer-side broker, negotiation and survey are biased.
Acquisition timeline?+
Sourcing 1-3 months, survey + sea-trial 2-3 weeks, closing 4-6 weeks. Expect 3-5 months from brief to delivery.
